Injury Updates on Von Miller
For now, it’s pretty unclear when Bill’s ace pass-pusher, Miller, would return to gaming. The star injured his right knee during Thanksgiving play against the Lions. While it seems that a possible horrific scenario was avoided, it’s still untellable whether Miller will return this season.
However, in one of his “VonCast” episodes, the host recently revealed some facts about his condition. He stated that he suffered lateral meniscus damage. And he’s willing to give the swelling time to subside before making a definitive decision.
Contrary to previous reports about him having surgery, that’ll likely keep him off all season. Therefore, his absence would affect the results in Super Bowl betting. Miller said he’d address his injury, but he didn’t sound like he’d undergo an op requiring months of recovery.
As it stands, the Bills will carry on with their clash against the Patriots without Von. However, he said he could give the Buffalo’s game a shot.
Raheem Mostert Throws Jabs Ahead of 49ers Week 13 Game
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert has responded to what seemed like a call-out by Tyler Dunne of GoLongTD.
Dunne said he thinks the 49ers didn’t have the interest of the 30-year-old at heart, hence his reason for signing a one-year deal with Miami in the offseason.
Mostert said to Dunne, “They did (hold my surgery against me).” And he later replied that he’s moved on from the situation.
49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo and his former teammate were also on the receiving end of his shaded shots. However, he said that via a compliment supposedly meant for Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa. It still appeared as though he was equally slamming at Jimmy G.
He said, “We have way better talent here. It’s going to get spooky… We have a quarterback who can sling it.”
Rams Aaron Donald Will Miss His First Game Due to an Injury
The defensive tackle star has only missed two games throughout Donald’s incredible NFL career. Both were dated back to 2017, and none was ascribed to injury.
Unfortunately, with the Rams’ clash against Seattle, Donald will be out due to a high ankle sprain injury. This is according to the Rams’ official statement on Wednesday.
Perhaps this might be the end of the road for him this season in what already seems like a struggle for his team. For the defending champions, it’s pretty much like their odds to win the Super Bowl have toppled.
This season, a quick review of Aaron Donald’s stats: 11 QB hits, 49 tackles, five sacks, ten tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.
In his 138 career games, he’s had 134 starts and brilliant all-round plays. This makes it astounding for someone like Donald, playing the defensive tackle to avoid injury for this long.
Jets James Robinson “Flares Up” About His Denial of Game Time
The New York Jets offense has witnessed some incoherence in recent weeks. Robinson came into the team in November and is somewhat upset about an inactive Week 12.
In his words to ESPN, “Obviously, I didn’t come here not to play. They brought me here for a reason. I don’t expect anything unless I work for it, and I’ve been working my ass off. Me not playing pisses me off.”
Robinson was seated against the Bears, watching his team clutch a 31-10 victory. While Michael Carter was away due to an ankle injury, that gave Ty Johnson an avenue to make his debut.
For Robinson, the hopes of a play could lie ahead in the Jets’ matchup against the Vikings in Minnesota.
He relays his upset and states that he’s unsure what the Jets have planned for him.
